I really am having too much fun I suppose!!  I have had it in my head to try to do an arm wrap yarn couching project for a while…and when I found this jacket, I realized the moment had come.  Taking my inspiration from the traditional American tattoo style, I created this design and did the yarn couching on a layer of tulle with wash away stabilizer.  The skull portion was then machine appliquéd on the back, but the snake was hand appliquéd down the arm with a little stuffing and a glass eye for the snake head.  Yes.  It really is that much fun to wear in public.
