A recent trip to the wild Oregon coast inspired this classic denim coat.  The red octopus, coral, green anemones, purple urchins, and orange starfish are all part of the small wonders you can find in a rocky tide pool on a lucky day while exploring.  On this jacket, the green anemones feature tufting as well as yarn couching.  The piece was yarn couched on a layer of tulle and wash away stabilizer before appliquéing by machine to the denim.
