1. Hi Bethanne, I see that your education included art therapy. Have you done anything with that? I have a master’s in counseling psychology & worked many years in locked psychiatric facilities. I would have loved to work in art therapy but never found much call for it. I think it’s more of a kid thing. We need to get you out to California teaching. Your work is amazing. Take care,

   • I think it is more common in juvenile facilities. But I did work as an art therapist at Norfolk Naval inpatient Psyc, as well as a children’s inpatient, and an “alternative” school for behavior modification. I found the burnout of the field really difficult and am much happier as a full time artist!
