Description

This 1/4″ thick acrylic ruler is made of cast, compressed light emitting  acrylic.  It is a translucent pale, pale green that reads as clear from above, but glows a beautiful aquamarine from the edges if viewed at an angle.  Measuring 6″ x 3 1/2″, it is just the right size for custom block work.   The stitch in the ditch edge features alignment tabs for perfect, stress free stitch in the ditch.  Simply put the edge of the tabs against the seam of the piecing and have perfect stitches in the ditch every time.  The other ruler edges feature wide and narrow gentle convex curves, ideal for 6″ and 2″ block piecing.  Lastly, a cut out edge offers perfect 1″ finished half circles for a multitude of grid designs.  All edges feature finely inscribed 1/8″ lines for your choice of 1/8″, 1/4″, or, my favorite, 3/8″ echo line work or curved cross hatching, all in one place.
