The deepest dive into Freehand Feather quilting available.  Freehand Quilting is my thing…and I love to share it.  The frustrating thing about traditional classes is the limits of time and attention!  In this incredible 24+ hour class I will be able to work with my students over 3 FULL MONTHS.  Presented over 13 weeks, 8 pre-recorded class units are spaced out over the 3 months and presented on a professional e-learning platform.  Then, as students begin to practice material, they participate in an exclusive, private membership, Facebook group, where they are welcome to submit work for individualized drawing and corrective feedback to perfect their feather techniques.  The class community will share their progress and their triumphs of quilting mastery!  Additionally, live question and answer sessions allow students to get additional, personalized quilted and drawn questions answered. Work from the comfort of home on your own domestic or longarm sewing machine at your own pace.

Freehand Feather Fiesta is a carefully planned, progressive learning program designed to teach you mastery of feather quilting and learn to manipulate the muscle memory of classic feathers into endless variations. Confident beginner quilters with strong machine control can set their feet on the path to becoming truly excellent freehand feather quilters with this masterclass.  More advanced students will be individually challenged to broaden their skills with increasingly adventurous quilting.

Students will have full access to all 24+ hours of class time, follow up feedback, extra tips and tricks, extra broadcasts for clarification, and basically have me on Facebook quilting speed-dial for an entire 3.5 months.  Watch and participate as much as you like within the class period! Classes are presented, recorded, intermittently through the class period to allow for ample practice and mastery time between sessions. The Facebook group uses an intuitive learning guide system, allowing students to easily and quickly see topical posts, with no confusing scrolling.  If you want to see all the questions and feedback about “fancy feathers”…you will be able to easily go the the outline and just see “fancy feathers”.

Students who are not interested in using the Facebook format will have full access to the instruction, as it is pre-recorded on the Teachable.com platform. All question and answer sessions, as well as the live broadcasts via YouTube. These non-Facebook students can still submit questions and personal feedback via email. However, these students would miss seeing their classmate’s work, and any clarification provided to them, and potentially miss part of the benefits of learning in a group setting.

Sound amazing?? YES! however…if you would like to talk about it, please send me an email. I also have a list of student ambassadors standing by to talk to you about their experience as well, if you would like to hear from a student perspective. Are you ready to FIESTA?? Are you ready to grow and master the quilted feather? Click the link below and be re-directed to the Teachable platform, where you will pay and get instant access to the class, the bonus and welcome materials. Later, you can come back to my shop here at White Arbor Quilting and separately purchase an optional fabric kit after you check out all the class offerings!

Please note, class has been expanded to 24 hours of filmed teaching since the promotional video was filmed (and mentions 20 hours)

Fabulous teacher.

December 1, 2024

I have several of Bethanne’s digital education classes and can’t recommend them highly enough. The classes are very informative and each lesson builds on from the last. She doesn’t babble on about unrelated stuff and is strictly in teaching mode. Definitely worth the money.

Love Bethanne’s classes

November 28, 2024

I am a domestic machine and now a sitdown machine quilter and have bought a few of Bethanne’s classes – a couple on demands, and free motion quilting classes (Breaking Boundaries and Blooming Botanicals) also attended a live zoom session on Feathers fast to fancy organized by The Quilters Guild of the British Isles and I love them!

The FMQ classes are jam packed with so many designs and the Bethanne shows you how to draw and quilt them on different machines (longarm, sitdown & domestic) and they are easy to follow.

You will need a lot of practice, but you can do it in your own time as the classes and live quilt designs & Q&A sessions can be accessed beyond the classes timelines.

I also find the Facebook group so invaluable, where Bethanne gives students designs & quiltings feedback many with drawings during the class timeline.

There’s still so much for me to take in and practice, but I can honestly say that these classes has lifted my FMQ skills to another level already.

Going from basic to stunning florals

November 28, 2024

Before taking this class I could do two basic leaf shapes & one basic flower. I wanted to be able to do much more. Bethanne teaches how to achieve a variety of excellent flowers, leaves and also placement of floral motifs. Her class is well with the cost.

Give yourself the gift of better quilting

November 28, 2024

My husband’s comment on my quilting… “You made a huge jump in your skills after you took the feather class from Bethanne.” He always encourages me to sign up for one of her classes if I show any interest in them… and I do!

I have since taken Breaking Boundaries and Blooming Botanicals. Life got in the way during Breaking Boundaries so I still need to finish that class. Self paced and available forever allows that flexibility.

Bethanne’s classes provide the structure needed to build your skills and confidence. Consistent practice within that structure is needed… but really pays off in the increased quality of quilting. Bethanne also provides encouraging feedback.
