What Is Included?
This floral Masterclass has it all!!
- Class 1: Basic Floral Elements. Learn a simple shape replacement system to quilt literally any flower from any viewpoint with little to no artistic skill. Bethanne breaks apart each move in small sequential steps for floral mastery. (4.5 hours)
- Class 2: Building Bouquets. Put all your basic floral elements together and learn to make all the common quilting shapes like wreaths, setting triangles, square units, serpentine borders, creative space filling, edge to edge designs and even a curling flower, similar to Curling Amish Feathers. (2.5 hours)
- Class 3: Full Florist. Expand your design skills away from strictly realistic bouquets. Learn to manipulate your floral elements into grids, dense blended texture meander background quilting, and elaborate William Morris inspired border designs, both as “stamps” and as long integrated border treatments. (3 hours)
- Class 4: LIVE Designing with Florals. Students are invited to submit their own quilts or ideas for an exciting live class in which Bethanne rapid-fires creates full quilt designs with florals. This design class solidifies the class content into practice. (2 hours) Stay for an additional hour of Live Q and A!
- Immediate Access Bonus Class : Adding Color with Derwent Inktense Effects. Bethanne will demonstrate numerous techniques for adding color to fabric as well as creating watercolor background fabrics. A supply list will be given with this unit, however students are encouraged to watch class before investing in art supplies. (1 hour)
- AND THEN…enjoy 1:1 support for the entire 2 months of class, giving you ample time to practice all your floral skills and get feedback if necessary.
This class is presented as recorded classes on Teachable, with an optional Facebook group for a dynamic supportive network of fellow quilters where students will have daily 1:1 interaction and feedback with Bethanne. Classes are released over the space of a month to give you time to practice and master botanicals step by step. The length of class with Bethanne is 2 full months, however you own the material forever, so, you can progress and practice at your own pace.

What can I say about Bethanne Nemesh? One of the best teachers I’ve ever come across. I took her Breaking Boundaries workshop and was amazed and delighted in the attention to detail in her teaching — the way she is able to break things down in manageable chunks that build with every class. The shear amount of thought and time she puts into her classes is incredible and is worth far, far more than the price she charges. She was always available to answer questions or help with problems and that in itself is worth the price of admission! I was trepidatious at first, but I can say that the amount of information, knowledge and material that I received far exceeds the price of the class. It is an absolute bargain. Bethanne is a delightful person, a wonderful teacher, an amazing artist and I can’t wait to take her next class.

Being a teacher myself I have high standards for a great teacher and Bethanne hits that mark. Bethanne really understands the software she uses and presents well in the online teaching environment. Bethanne has completely thought out the teaching agenda from starting us with a quilt idea/pattern so that we are all starting from the same place. Then breaks down each session with quilting designs that are similar and provides handouts to support each lesson. She provides tips and tricks all along the way that shows me she is listening and responding to all her students questions. I love her attention to all the details and can’t wait to see what class is next.

Elevates your freemotion Quilting to an expert level
Blooming botanicals was my second class with Bethanne after the feather fiesta. She explains every step so well and detailed that even as a relative beginner i had no problems to follow and perform. I think the feather fiesta is the best course for feathers you can get. Not only are you able to reproduce the most lovely feathers including Bethannes stunning dragonfinfeathers but she also enables you to create your own feather designs. The indepth teaching makes you quilt like a Professional. Nobody including my american neighbours believed that i am a novice in Quilting when they saw my feathers.
I still have not explored everything in that course but decided to gift me another course. Blooming botanicals is wonderful. All the different flower designs but also the use of space in your quilting just complimented the previous course to perfection. I learned so much in the design sessions. And thank you again for designing all our favourite flowers.

After my first class Feather Fiesta 2025 I took the Blooming Botanicals
It was again a great class on a very high professional level and I could learn so much from it, but it will take some time for training and it is very good to have the class videos available whenever is time to watch them again. The way of excellent explanaition, than drawing and after that sewing / quilting on both: sit down and maschine on the frame – this is a lot of fun and almost every class brought me to so much ideas for new Free Motion quilting : Thank you very much Bethanne – I am looking forward to meet you in person – maybe in Paducah 2026. Worth Every Penny
I have taken 3 of Bethanne’s courses (Feather Foundations, Sweet Tooth, and now Blooming Botanicals) and she never disappoints. I was hesitant to invest the tuition for Blooming Botanicals, having purchased several others at a similar (or higher) price point and come away with very few new skills. However, Blooming Botanicals is jam-packed with practical and useful information. It is based on a SYSTEM of quilting botanical designs, not just learning a few motifs. Bethanne is a true educator and organizes her classes so that students build skills progressing from simple to more complex designs. The feedback from Bethanne is personal, thoughtful and aimed at polishing students’ technique…every time I made a submission for feedback I learned from her comments and especially how she drew over my designs. It was apparent that she invested time and effort in helping me to improve. The last design session is astounding…opens thought processes by suggesting how to use the designs on a huge variety of actual student quilts. I am so glad I took this course…worth every penny!

Absolutely Incredible
I am an online Quilting class junkie, and I am addicted to Bethanne’s classes. These are, without a doubt, some of the best classes you could ever take. I always dreamed of quilting organically “on the fly” and these classes have elevated my quilt and design skills higher than I ever could’ve imagined. My skills continue to soar thanks to Bethanne and her incredible teaching style. Bethanne is a gifted teacher and is eager to share her knowledge with anyone who has a thirst for learning. I have taken almost all of her classes, and they have been exactly what I needed to level up on my quilting journey. These classes are comparable to taking courses at an actual Art University- without the crazy art school costs! I can’t recommend these classes enough, and I look forward to taking more classes with Bethanne, as she has so much to offer.
